Review Guidelines

What makes a review eligible, and what happens if a broker disputes it.

Eligibility

Reviews must come from an genuine client relationship with the broker. BrokerProof verifies this internally even when the reviewer chooses to hide their public identity — see verification methodology.

What we remove

Content that violates policy — harassment, unrelated content, confirmed impersonation, disclosed conflicts of interest not flagged as such. We do not remove a review merely because it is negative, and no membership tier can pay for removal of legitimate criticism.

Dispute process

  1. A broker disputes a published review and states a reason.
  2. BrokerProof records the dispute and reason.
  3. A moderator checks the review against policy and verification evidence.
  4. The reviewer may be asked to substantiate their account.
  5. The final moderation outcome is logged in an auditable trail.

BrokerProof is not a court and does not adjudicate legal truth — moderators apply documented platform policy only.
