Terms of Service

BrokerProof is an independent commercial real estate broker verification and matching platform. We are not a licensed real estate brokerage, we are not a party to any transaction between a customer and a broker, and we do not represent buyers, sellers, landlords, or tenants in any deal. We provide information — verified transaction history, client reviews, and a matching tool — to help you evaluate brokers yourself.

The BrokerProof Rating, Match score, and verification badges reflect the evidence available to us at the time — public records, broker-submitted documents reviewed by a moderator, and client reviews. They are not a warranty or guarantee of any broker's future performance, competence, or the outcome of any transaction you enter into with them. You are responsible for your own due diligence before hiring any broker.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential.
• Brokers are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information and any transaction or license evidence they submit. Knowingly submitting false or fraudulent evidence is grounds for account suspension and revocation of any verification badge.
• One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.

Our verification process — matching claims to public records, reviewing broker-submitted documents, and (where available) AI-assisted document analysis for a human moderator — is a good-faith effort to confirm real transaction history, not a certification that every fact is error-free. A verification badge may be revoked at our discretion if we later determine it was granted in error or based on inaccurate information.

Reviews must be truthful accounts of your own real experience — not defamatory, not written on behalf of someone else, and not incentivized by the broker being reviewed. We moderate reported content and may remove or edit submissions that violate our Review Guidelines. By submitting content, you grant BrokerProof a license to display it on the platform and in shareable materials generated from it (such as a Deal DNA card).

• Submitting false transaction claims, fabricated documents, or reviews about experiences that didn't happen
• Attempting to manipulate ratings, rankings, or verification status
• Scraping or bulk-extracting data from the platform without permission
• Using inquiries or introductions for purposes other than the real estate need described

Paid membership tiers unlock convenience and connection features (such as lead visibility or saved comparisons) — never a higher rating, Match score, or verification status; those are always determined the same way regardless of membership tier. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and can be canceled at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

BrokerProof is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrokerProof is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform or your dealings with any broker or customer you connect with through it, including the outcome of any real estate transaction.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, submits fraudulent evidence, or engages in abusive conduct toward other users. You may close your account at any time.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you directly.
